COMPETITION FEATURES AND THEME

Theme of the 2026 competition: “Sports”—energy, movement, challenge, and passion.

The theme must be interpreted through creations that showcase the competition’s star dessert:

“Chocolate Cake with Cream bignè” – A pastry classic revisited with a modern twist.

“Ice Cream Stick”

Each competitor must create:

1. An artistic sculpture in sugar and pastillage or chocolate, inspired by the theme “Sport”

2. 3 chocolate cakes with cream bignè required

The Art of Pastry Colors on Tour: Matera, Italy

A day full of inspiration and creativity near Matera, where we met passionate professionals and a company that puts its heart into everything it does.

The Art of Pastry Colors on Tour: Lithuania

We successfully completed a new demo in Lithuania. Thanks to Sanitex Lietuva, Promo Cash&Carry, Chef @Marius for his contribution, and Amanda Veršelytė, Marketing Specialist for organizing together this event.

Chef Alessandro Fiorucci created excellent desserts with wonderful decorations, colorful and brilliant, using the entire VIAdelleARTI product range, from food coloring spray such as : #matty, #pearly, and #velly to our #baking spray, coloring powders and gels.

These events represent strategic opportunities to strengthen business relationships, develop new and existing markets, bringing #madeinItaly excellence to the world, the fruit of ongoing research and strong know-how.

PLMA 2025

PLMA, Private Label Manufacturers Association, is an excellent showcase for those of us who produce and supply food aerosols with private labels, with particular attention to the technical and regulatory aspects of the various countries in the world.
Our team was present to welcome buyers from all over the world.

ANNUAL MEETING WITH OUR ITALIAN AGENTS

The annual meeting with our Italian agents took place in Puglia at the end of May. We shared last year’s performance, the achievement of objectives and the new targets for 2025, not only for the development of the Italian market, but also with reference to the new internationalization projects, as well as the general growth of Via delle Arti.

A World of Colors

The “A World of Colors” event was a real success. A heartfelt thanks to the Pastry Chefs, World Champions Antonio and Carmela Capuano, who with their talent and passion made the day unforgettable.

A special thanks also to the Unione Pasticcieri Gelatieri Campani for the support and to the President, Chef Palmiro Russo, for his presence and his constant commitment.

New training session in Albania – ALTA GROUP (April 19th 2025)

Thanks to the collaboration with ALTA GROUP for almost 15 years, a leading company in the pastry, bakery & ice cream sector in Albania, we organized a complete presentation of our products, VIAdelleARTI brand, accompanied by a beautiful and useful demonstration of how to best decorate the various desserts, providing tips & recipes. With the skills of Carmela Moffa, world champion pastry chef, we touched on themes dedicated to pastry, bakery, ice cream, chocolate & cake design.

New Partnership: Chef Byron Saliba

The Journey of Chef Byron Saliba started at a very young age in a small bakery shop, helping and understanding the discipline of pastry. Later his fascination grew as soon he stepped into the world of hospitality.

He travelled around the globe to study and further his education in renowned academies under the supervision high-profile chefs such as L’ Ecole Valrhona France – Cocoa Black School under the internationally renowned Martin Chiffers & UK Chocolate Master Ruth Hinks. The kitchen for him is a playground where he can play with ingredients, colors, and designs. Through his professional experience, he gained a good camaraderie of knowledge working in prestigious hotels locally and abroad together in Michelin Star Restaurants which has earned him several key awards winning in Culinary Competitions in different categories such as Platted Desserts – Chocolate Showpieces and Gran Prix. Over the years Byron took several recognitions and made several publications in all aspects of pastry creation which led him to be one of the Top Pastry Chefs in Malta for STYLE Magazine.

Chef Byron was also a Primary Judge for the TV Show Bakers Kitchen. As a Maltese Pastry Artist experience of more than 29 years locally and abroad doing services as a consultancy and lecturing around the globe to continue fuelling creation and knowledge of the pastry sector.
